Tapped
About Tapped
Created by young people. Built to prevent harm.
Tapped is a powerful short film exploring the realities of illegal money lending and its impact on individuals, families, and communities.
Developed in partnership with the Scottish Illegal Money Lending Unit, Kingdom Community Bank, Fife Voluntary Action, YouthLink Scotland, and Fife Council, the film and education pack were created by young people for use in schools, youth groups, and community settings.
The project provided young people with creative mentorship from Youth Space Fife alongside professional filmmakers David Izatt and Adam Stanley, supporting them to develop their filmmaking, storytelling, and production skills while ensuring the content is authentic and youth-led.
The accompanying Tapped education pack (below) provides accessible, youth-informed resources to raise awareness, build understanding, and support prevention.
